Do you know an emerging female leader working in Alberta's energy sector that deserves to be profiled and recognized? Nominate her below!

The annual YWE Awards program recognizes and rewards Alberta's top young women in energy that demonstrate exceptional leadership and who are ‘changing the face of energy’.

We’re looking for candidates that demonstrate the following attributes and qualities:

  • Exhibit drive, motivation and the desire to lead

  • Demonstrate vision, leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Propose innovative or new initiatives

  • Making a difference in the industry and greater community

Awards Criteria

  • All applicants must identify as female or non-binary

  • All applicants must work and reside within Alberta

  • All applicants must have between 5-15 years of professional experience (age 40 or under as of Dec 31, 2024)

  • A minimum of 3 years energy-related experience (student, CO-OP placements and internships are excluded)

  • Applicants must work "in” or “for” an energy company or at an energy-related service provider

Nominations are accepted until November 29, 2024, and each nominee will be encouraged to apply with a complete application.

Applications for the 2024 YWE Awards will be accepted until January 8, 2025 at midnight MST.
